Ceramic Rims Cr0.01 is a high-quality ceramic coating specially designed for painted rims. It provides long-lasting protection against environmental influences such as salt, brake dust, and dirt. Through a chemical reaction, the coating bonds permanently with the surface and creates an excellent water-repellent effect (lotus effect).

Application Recommendations

1. Rim Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the rim (e.g., with Magic Wheel Cleaner). For heavy dirt, use suitable accessories (e.g., Detail Wheel Brush).
2. Surface Preparation: Clean all surfaces to be sealed with a Polish & Sealing Towel and Panel Preparation Spray or Silicone & Wax Remover. Then wipe dry with a fresh cloth. Note: To avoid hazing, dilute Silicone & Wax Remover 1:4 with distilled water.
3. Applying the Coating: Wear gloves – after cleaning, do not touch the surface with your fingers. Moisten the Application Pen with Ceramic Rims Cr0.01 and apply the coating evenly. A thin, continuous liquid film must be visible. Let it flash off and then polish with a Coating Towel.
4. Flash-off Time & Environmental Conditions: Optimal conditions: temperature between 15°C and 25°C, humidity between 40% and 50%. If temperature/humidity is higher, flash-off time must be shorter. If temperature/humidity is lower, the reaction cannot proceed properly.
5. Consumption: Approximately 5-7 ml per rim depending on size and design.

Care Instructions

• The coating is weatherproof after at least 24 hours.
• The first vehicle wash should be done no earlier than nine days after application, as the coating fully cures by then.
• At low outdoor temperatures (below 15°C), curing time is extended.
• Remove dirt gently and as soon as possible within the first nine days.
• For maintenance, applying Spray Sealant S0.02 or Hand Wax W0.01 after 24 hours is recommended.
• Avoid cleaning agents with pH values below 3 or above 12.
• An opened bottle is usable for a maximum of 6 months. Check the bottle for crystallization before use.
• To preserve the ceramic surface as long as possible, hand washing is recommended.
• Use Green Star (dilution 1:10) for alkaline cleaning.
• Use Gentle Snow Foam for neutral washes.
• For removing mineral deposits, deep cleaning with Magic Wheel Cleaner or Reactivation Shampoo is recommended.
