Areas of application:
PMMA headlights on cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats, etc.
Recommended application:
- Before starting, clean the headlight and then mask off the edges near the hood, fender, grille, and bumper.
- Depending on weathering, sand the headlight surface using the hand block or an orbital polisher with the sandpaper. For heavily yellowed headlights, start with the 1,000 grit sandpaper (coarse grit). Then repeat this step with the 2,000 grit (medium grit) and 4,000 grit (fine grit) sandpapers until a uniformly sanded surface is achieved. If the headlights are only slightly dull, sanding can be skipped.
- Remove the sanding marks with Headlight Polish 1 and the Heavy Cut Pad or the Lambswool Pad. We recommend using a rotary polisher and applying the cutting polish at medium speed and medium pressure in a cross pattern.
- Polish the surface to a high gloss with Headlight Polish 2 and the Thermo Pad. We recommend using a rotary polisher and applying the finishing polish at medium speed and medium pressure in a cross pattern. Please observe the legal regulations regarding headlight processing in your country before use.
