How to apply the Brake Caliper Paint Red correctly 🛠️
The application is easy and you can do it yourself in your garage.
- Preparation: Sand the surface with sandpaper (grit 240-360) to remove rust and ensure optimal adhesion.
- Cleaning: Thoroughly degrease the brake caliper (e.g. with K2 Brake Cleaner).
- Masking: Protect surrounding parts if you don't remove the calipers.
- Application: Shake the can for 1 minute. Spray 2-3 coats at intervals of 10 minutes each.
- Drying: After about 30-60 minutes the paint is dust dry. Full curing is reached after 12 hours (at 20°C).
