Yellow Heavy - Cutting Quantum pads are perfect for removing scratches, swirls, water spots and oxidation with any dual action (eccentric) Polisher or Rotary Polisher. The new Quantum design is a major advancement in polishing pad technology. Innovative foam pads bring the power from the polisher to the paint and reduce heat and abrasion. Quantum pads are designed for dual action (eccentric) polishers with large and small strokes and for rotary polishers. Quantum Hex-Logic pads combine new geometry with familiar Hex-Logic properties for maximum polishing results. The new Quantum pads are equipped with a solid and breathable velcro which is more adhesive than other pads. The precise cut technology delivers an even profile with minimal abrasion to the pad. Improved technology and materials make these Quantum Hex Logic pads more durable and show better polishing results. To get "polishing" right, Quantum Hex Logic pad engineers have improved durability and efficiency with the Precision Port hole. The venting of the pad reduces the pressure on the the material and thus allows less heat to develop. Quantum polishing pads are available in all colors like the original Hex-Logic polishing pads. The Heavy Cutting Pad removes extreme holograms, scratches, water spots and oxidation to bring back shine and reflection to painted surfaces. Detailers start with a test program to find out which combination of pad and polish gives the best results. The heavy cut of the yellow Quantum pads with strong polishes like the V34 Hybrid Compound or V32 Extreme Compound with a rotary or dual action (eccentric) polisher. If not you can use a microfiber polishing pad or lambskin.. When the holograms and scratches are removed you can start finishing with e.g. a white pad.

Rregular foam pads are deficient at erasing the velcro, from foam and from the edge when polishing at higher speed. Old - skool polishers are rotary and rotate on an axis, bringing the pressure to Polishing pads. Dual Action (Eccentric) Polishers do besides the rotating movement also do an eccentric stroke, creating even more pressure. The Dual Action - Mechanismuss lets the pads move between 2mm and 26mm.
