How it works

The Grit Guard Insert is a raised radial surface that fits the bottom of our 3 – 5 gallon buckets.
The Grit Guard Insert separates oxidation and dirt from your wash mitt, sponge, or other washing tools when you drag them over the Grit Guard. The oxidation stays at the bottom of the bucket so your water
stays clean. Four quadrants in the Grit Guard calm the water and keep the Grit Guard at the bottom of the bucket.
Oxidation and dirt settle at the bottom. The Grit Guard is designed to protect your paint from scratches.
It separates oxidation from your wash mitt. It also prevents swirls caused by improper washing. The Grit Guard Insert separates particles like oxidation, grit, and dirt from your wash mitt and delivers
a clean, scratch-free wash mitt. The Grit Guard Insert is truly a paint protector with some extras. You can use the Grit Guard to clean brushes by rubbing the bristles over the grit in the bucket with water. It can also be used to clean car parts (oil filters).
